Voodoo Child is a cover of a Jimi Hendrix song of the same name. It is a collaboration between the awesome band Brick + Mortar and myself. I was specifically contracted to do a cover of Voodoo Child in a trailer format. This is a fancy way of saying that the song was not in your typical rock song arrangement. I wrote the song/cover from the ground up and the band provided vocals and percussion.

When the song was released by Sony, it did quite well. It was number 1 in the hot tracks section of iTunes. This, blew my mind. It was incredibly polarizing but I was ok with that because it meant a lot of people were listening to it.
